Remaco was chosen to design, supply and install a curved rear projection screen through a local systems integrator for ITE West, the largest ITE in Singapore that houses five different campuses.
Three screens were installed in Volkswagen’s showroom: two measuring 5m x 3.2m and one measuring 6m x 3.2m. The screens are strategically placed in three separate see-through rooms where car owners wait to collect their new vehicles. This is also viewable to the general public who are checking out the showroom cars.
While the customers are waiting, advertisements of Volkswagen vehicles are projected onto the screens. After all the documentation and briefing are done, the customers then get into their new car, and the projection screen and the roller shutter retracts, allowing them to drive the vehicle straight out of the showroom.
Remaco was tasked to construct a 25m x 4.5m curved screen for Colosseum, a cyber gaming cafe at Iluma. Constructed and built on-site from scratch within 4 weeks, this curved screen is one of the largest in Singapore to date. It plays a pivotal role in enhancing the live gaming experience at the largest gaming centre in Singapore, which houses in excess of 200 computer terminals. Images are projected onto the massive screen with three high-powered projectors using edge blending technology.
